Applications are due by 16 November for a one-day MISA Lesotho Internet security workshop on 17 November 2016. The workshop is open to all media workers in Lesotho.

The Internet is important for a huge variety of reason, and it affects and facilitates nearly every aspect of modern life. The Internet is extremely important in many fields, from education, health care, business, media and government. All most everything is now available over the Internet in this age of advancement of technologies.

It is a general practice nowadays for a person to look for a particular solution over the Internet and be satisfied with appropriate solutions. While the Internet has revolutionised communications, its conveniences and uses come at the price of new perils. Therefore, it is essential for consumers to protect their personal and business information. High profile attacks allow hackers to damage reputations and causing havoc for victims.

Therefore MISA Lesotho cordially invites you to a one day Internet Security Workshop on the 17th November, 2016 from 0900hrs to 1700hrs at MISA Lesotho premises, Happy Villa House 1B.
